National Services Day was proud to take part in the recent St. Patricks Day parade, showcasing the dedication and commitment of Ireland’s frontline and emergency service personnel.
The parade provided an opportunity to reflect on the incredible work carried out by Ireland’s national services, particularly in challenging times. The participation of National Services Day in the event highlighted the importance of honouring those who serve, not just on one dedicated day in September, but all year round.
With the success of this parade fresh in our minds, we are already looking forward to National Services Day 2025, which will take place on September 6th. It will once again be a day to bring communities together in celebration of our emergency and voluntary services, with parades, exhibitions, and interactive events planned across the country.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and cheered us on at the Late St. Patrick’s Day Parade – your encouragement means the world to those who serve!
